Аннотация
Используя данные выборки китайских детей (n = 297) в возрасте 3–6 лет в Пекине, мы изучили особенности китайских стилей воспитания и их взаимосвязь с результатами развития детей. В ходе последующего шестимесячного исследования, проведенного среди 110 из 297 участников, дополнительно изучалось долгосрочное влияние стилей воспитания на развитие детей. Результаты показали, что: а) средние оценки четырех аспектов авторитетного воспитания были значительно выше, чем четырех аспектов авторитарного воспитания; б) демократические принципы положительно влияют на успехи детей в математике и других науках, а стратегии наказания негативно сказываются на социально-эмоциональном и когнитивном развитии детей; в) словесная враждебность положительно предсказывала когнитивное развитие детей, а директивность – социальные отношения детей.
